The Central California Conference is bidding farewell to Karlonne Lewis, Associate Treasurer, as he transitions to serve as Treasurer for the North American Division’s Media Ministry.

Lewis began his service with the conference as an auditor, working closely with local churches and schools. From April 2017 to December 2021, he also served concurrently as treasurer for Templeton Hills Adventist School in Templeton, California, while carrying out his auditing responsibilities.

Even after stepping into the role of Associate Treasurer, he continued to support auditing duties. Over the past six years, Lewis became known for his diligence and his ability to work collaboratively across departments, particularly with education and human resources.

Reflecting on his time with the conference, Lewis said he most valued the camaraderie within the accounting department and the opportunity to build relationships with colleagues across ministries. “I enjoyed collaborating with other departments. There was always a strong sense of teamwork, and I appreciated working alongside people who were committed to the mission,” he said.

Lewis also expressed gratitude for the conference’s leadership. “I appreciate the administration’s emphasis on healthy culture. They bring energy, openness, and a willingness to listen to new ideas, which created a positive environment for all of us.”

As he prepares to take on his new role, Lewis looks forward to continuing his calling to serve the church. “I believe God has opened this opportunity to work with Adventist Media Ministries. It’s a blessing to serve at the NAD level while remaining in California. My experience here at CCC has helped pave the way for this new chapter.”

The Central California Conference family gives thanks for Lewis’ years of service, his faithful leadership, and his Christ-centered example. We extend our prayers and best wishes as he embarks on this next journey, trusting that God will continue to guide and bless his ministry.
