WHAT WE DO

The Ministerial department’s primary purpose is to provide support, encouragement, mentoring, professional and personal development, and counseling to our Central California pastors, their spouses, and/or their children. The department oversees eight geographic ministry areas, which are coordinated by “area presidents” who lead out in monthly area pastor’s meetings and serve as liaisons between their area pastors’ needs and the Ministerial department. It is responsible for mentoring and assisting pastors with minor to major issues, challenges, or conflicts they may have with church policies, individual church members, leaders, and church boards. The department receives pastors’ Continuing Education requests and tracks the distribution of funds. Lastly, it monitors and facilitates the pastoral ordination track program.
