Please arrive on time for all meetings. 



The Fitness Center is next to the Gift Shop. 

 

Group Picture: We will be taking a group picture on Tuesday before brunch.

 

Recreation is all up to you and those who join you! Just make sure to enjoy this time off!

 

Recreation options include: 

    Gym room 

    Heated pool 

    Lounge areas for conversation 

    Family time

    Fresno Chaffee Zoo

    Shopping malls in the area

     

Please silence cell phones and limit usage during meetings. 

 

Public restrooms are located outside of the Conference Room on the right and left sides of the foyer.

 

For check-in/check-out, room issues, lost and found, or general questions, please speak to Angelica Nichols or Amber Melton.

For basic first aid (band aids, pain reliever) please see Angelica Nichols or Amber Melton. For more serious issues or emergencies, please call 911. 

 

The Creative Arts department will be taking photos for the 2023 CCC Directory during this time at room Salon Room F. Look for the signs posted or ask registration for assistance.

    Sun, 1/22 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. (For Pastors)

    Mon, 1/23 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. (For Families)

    Please wear proper formal/Sabbath attire for photos.



Child Care will be provided for ages 2-12 in Salon Rooms A-1 and A-2 during the meetings. (Time Schedule: 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. / 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.)

Angeline D. Brauer

Dr. Brauer has served as the Health Ministries Director for the North American Division since 2016. She holds a Doctor of Public Health degree in Nutrition from Loma Linda University and a Master of Health Science in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins. 

As a public health epidemiologist, she produces health content, trains lay members, and facilitates collaboration among Adventist organizations. Brauer believes that healthy living should be practical, understandable, and enjoyable for everyone.  

She and her husband, Jonathan enjoy adventures with their puppy, Ella, coming up with new recipes, working on craft projects, teaching, and brainstorming about ministry.

Richie Halversen

Richie Halversen is Director of Church Growth & Revitalization for the Southern Union where he coaches churches, pastors, and lay leaders to maximize their impact in evangelism, church planting, and revitalization. He has been married to his wife Brittney for 25 years. They have four children: Kaleb, Hayley, Tristen, and Taylor.

Jose Cortes Jr. treasures and loves Joanne Cortes, his wife and companion in ministry. Together, they are blessed with two boys, Jose III and Joel Benjamin. Next to God and family, his greatest joy and passion comes from ministry, and about 25 years of pastoring, youth and young adult ministries, soul winning, church planting, and leadership as a Conference and Union Departmental Director.

 

He currently serves as Associate Director of the North American Division Ministerial Association and leads Evangelism, Church Planting, Global Mission, Church Growth, and Mission to the Cities for the Adventist Church in North America. 

 

Pastor Jose holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div) from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University, and a B.A. in Theology from Columbia Union College, now known as Washington Adventist University.

Sam Neves

Pastor Sam Neves serves as the Associate Director of Communication at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. His main responsibilities are branding and digital marketing for the world church. He was born in Brazil and moved to England as a teenager, where he later served as a local church pastor for 11 years. Today he lives in Silver Spring, MD, in the United States with his wife, Amy, and their 3 boys.
