Amber Melton Concludes 11 Years of Dedicated Service as Conference Office Staff

Updated: Jun 19

CLOVIS, Calif. — Amber N. Melton will conclude her service with the Central California Conference on June 27 after more than a decade of dedicated ministry support.

Melton joined the conference office May 27, 2014, initially serving as administrative assistant for evangelism. She expanded her role in 2016 to support the Ministerial Department before transitioning to senior

accounting clerk in the Treasury Department in 2024.

"Amber's presence in our office has been a blessing, marked by kindness, professionalism and genuine care for others. Her dedication has left an indelible mark on our team and community."

Melton's path to Seventh-day Adventism began through an unexpected invitation. Her horseback riding instructor shared a Doug Batchelor sermon series on CD-ROM and invited her family to study together. Though neither family was Adventist, they embraced the message and began attending the Auberry church, the nearest Sabbath-keeping congregation.

"Amber's work has always been grounded in her love for God and desire to support His mission. She has consistently expressed her passion for sharing God's word in meaningful ways, both in the office and beyond."

Throughout her tenure, Melton brought reliability and a spirit of service to each role. Her cheerful demeanor and commitment to excellence have been hallmarks of her ministry within the conference structure.

The Central California Conference serves Seventh-day Adventist churches and members throughout the region, providing administrative, ministerial and financial support for local congregations and evangelistic initiatives.

Conference leadership expressed gratitude for Melton's contributions and requested prayers for her future endeavors.
