Because You Matter: A Message to Our Pastors

Clovis, Calif. — October 2025 — In honor of Pastor Appreciation Month, Central California Conference (CCC) President Ricardo J. Viloria shared a heartfelt video message recognizing and celebrating the pastors who faithfully serve the 160 churches across the conference.

The message, recorded at the CCC Studio in Clovis, highlights the central theme of Viloria’s five-year vision for the conference: Healthy Culture — Flourishing People, Thriving Organization, Fulfilled Mission.

“You matter,” Viloria said. “You are deeply valued — not just for what you do, but for who you are. Each sermon you prepare, each hospital visit you make, each prayer you whisper for your members — it all reflects the heart of Jesus. We see you, we recognize you, and we appreciate you.”

Pastors at the Heart of a Healthy Culture

In his message, Viloria emphasized that the vision for a thriving conference begins with flourishing pastors.

“When pastors flourish, our churches thrive,” he said. “When you are spiritually grounded and emotionally healthy, your ministry bears fruit that lasts.”

The president also acknowledged the sacrifices of pastoral families, noting that spouses and children share the burdens and blessings of ministry.

“We honor them too,” he added, “for walking beside you in faith and service.”

Building a Culture of Care and Collaboration

Viloria reaffirmed the conference’s commitment to creating a Christ-centered environment where leaders feel supported, connected, and renewed.

“As a conference, we are committed to building a healthy culture — one where you feel safe, supported, and connected,” he said. “We want to move from isolation to collaboration, from burnout to renewal. You are not alone in this journey. We are praying for you, standing with you, and walking beside you — because together, we are the body of Christ.”

A Message of Hope and Appreciation

The three-minute video concludes with a message of encouragement and unity:

“Thank you, pastors, for your faithfulness,” Viloria said. “Thank you for your love for Jesus and His people. You are part of a movement where people flourish, the organization thrives, and the mission of God is fulfilled.”

The Central California Conference extends heartfelt appreciation to every pastor and their family for their faithful service in leading, loving, and inspiring communities across the region.
