FRESNO, Calif. — May 18, 2025

The Central California Conference Executive Committee gathered on Sunday, May 18, marking a moment of unity and momentum as all four executive officers are now in place. With the arrival of Treasurer Michael Wixwat, the leadership team is complete, joining President Ricardo J. Viloria, Executive Secretary David Dean, and Vice President for Ministries Anil Kanda.
Wixwat opened the meeting with a devotional that wove together personal testimony, mission updates, and scriptural encouragement. Drawing from 1 Chronicles 4:9–10, he focused on the prayer of Jabez: “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory.”
“We must not settle for small victories,” Wixwat said. “We must ask boldly and act faithfully—God wants to do far more than we can imagine.”
He shared a story from a recent trip where he met a Punjabi man who noticed him reading the Bible during morning worship in a hotel lobby. That brief encounter led to a spiritual conversation, a shared testimony, and an introduction to the Discover Bible Study method.
Wixwat also shared a testimony from the Middle East, where digital outreach helped a young man from a Muslim-majority country connect with the Adventist message. After years of virtual Bible study and mentorship, the man was baptized and is now preparing for ministry.
“These stories remind us that God is moving—in Fresno and across the globe,” said Wixwat. “Our call is to be faithful and available.”
Referencing Ephesians 3:20, he added, “God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”
With the leadership team now fully in place, the Central California Conference moves forward with renewed energy and vision—strengthening churches, empowering ministries, and advancing God’s mission across the region.
“May God enlarge our territory,” Wixwat said, “and may we be faithful in the part He’s called us to play.”
