Pastor Bismarck Castillo Concludes His Ministry in Central California

ree

The Central California Conference expresses appreciation to Pastor Bismarck Castillo, who is concluding his ministry with us this year. Over the past several years, Pastor Castillo has served two congregations in our conference, caring as he walked alongside members in their spiritual journeys.

Pastor Castillo first joined the Central California Conference in 2019, after several years of ministry at the Springdale First Spanish Church in the Arkansas-Louisiana Conference. His first assignment in our field was the Fresno Remnant Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he served from late 2019 through 2021. During those years, he focused on discipleship and building relationships within a diverse and growing congregation.

In 2022, he transitioned to the Woodlake Hispanic Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he continued his pastoral ministry until September 30, 2025, his final date of service. Throughout his time in Woodlake, he engaged in family-focused ministry and supported ongoing spiritual development within the church community.

Reflecting on his years in Central California, Pastor Castillo shared that he values the opportunity to have worked alongside supportive colleagues and a pastoral team committed to Christ-centered service. He noted that the discipleship work—especially seeing young people deepen their faith—was one of the meaningful parts of his ministry here. He also appreciated the chance to encourage families and help guide homes toward spiritual growth.

During his time in the conference, Pastor Castillo helped launch Hombres de Poder, a men’s ministry centered on spiritual commitment and intentional leadership. He shared that watching men take steps toward a more faithful walk with Christ was an encouraging experience.

As he moves into a new chapter, Pastor Castillo and his family will be dedicating their efforts to Familias Hechas en Casa, a ministry designed to strengthen marriages and families both inside and outside the Adventist community. Their focus will be on offering practical support, encouragement, and spiritual guidance to homes seeking hope and restoration.

The Central California Conference thanks Pastor Bismarck Castillo for his years of ministry and wishes him and his family God’s grace and peace as they step into this next season.
