Ready to Build Your Church Website? Start with the Orientation Seminar Recording

FRESNO, Calif.—May 21, 2025 — The Central California Conference (CCC) hosted the first official orientation for FRAME, a new WordPress-powered website platform developed by Adventist Connect in collaboration with the North American Division. Held last night via Zoom, the digital seminar brought together pastors, media directors, and church leaders eager to enhance their congregations’ online presence.

As the first conference in the division to implement the FRAME platform, CCC is setting the pace in modernizing church websites to better serve members and connect with seekers.

“We had a wonderful time last night, and we’re honored to be the first to partner with Adventist Connect in launching this initiative,” said Pastor Justin Kim, CCC communication director. “The level of interest, engagement, and passion for digital ministry shown by our leaders was deeply encouraging.”

Participants explored FRAME’s customizable features, media integration capabilities, and user-friendly design interface. Anthony White, associate director for web platforms at Adventist Connect, led the training and demonstrated the system’s flexibility and power.

“Eight out of 10 people will visit your website before ever stepping into your church,” Kim emphasized during the session, referencing Barna Research. “This is our digital front porch. We must make it inviting.”

CCC is also developing its own custom website pattern for local churches, expected to be finalized within a month. Leaders were invited to preview the sample site currently under development and contribute suggestions for layout or content needs.

Built on WordPress, the FRAME platform is fully customizable and free for all churches and schools within the North American Division. It supports a wide range of content types and allows local congregations to maintain mobile-friendly, modern websites with ease.

Once a site is activated by Adventist Connect, churches will receive step-by-step technical support and training from CCC’s Assistant Communication Director, Pastor Josue Hernandez.

“FRAME provides the tools; now we must use them for the mission,” said Hernandez. “We are here to guide our churches from start to finish.”

Churches are also encouraged to consider next steps in expanding their digital reach, such as applying for Google Ads Grants, which can provide up to $10,000 per month in free advertising for eligible ministries.

Questions CCC churches should begin asking include:

  • Is our current website up to date and mobile-friendly?

  • Would a professional, supported website help us connect with more people?

  • What content or homepage features do we want to include?

  • Are we ready to use digital tools like Google Ads to expand our outreach?

Churches wishing to initiate the migration process should contact Pastor Josue Hernandez at jhernandez@cccsda.org for support.

“This is about more than technology,” said Kim. “It’s about creating a digital space where people can experience the hope and message of Jesus Christ. Let’s build it together.”
