Soquel Camp Meeting 2026: Rooted in Christ – Hispanic Tent
The 2026 Soquel Camp Meeting was a tremendous blessing to our Hispanic community. Under the theme “Rooted,” the Hispanic Tent became a place where families, children, youth, and adults gathered to worship, fellowship, learn, and grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus.
The theme “Rooted” reminded us that, just as a tree must have deep roots to remain strong and bear fruit, our lives must be deeply rooted in Christ. Being rooted means establishing our faith firmly in God’s Word, developing a consistent prayer life, trusting God through every circumstance, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts. When our roots are firmly established in Christ, we can remain strong during difficult seasons and produce spiritual fruit that blesses others.
A special highlight of this year’s program was the powerful ministry of our main speaker, Pastor Omar Grieve. Through his Christ-centered messages, Pastor Grieve challenged us to deepen our relationship with Jesus, strengthen our faith, and remain firmly grounded in God’s Word. His messages encouraged us not only to hear the Word, but to live it and allow Christ to transform every area of our lives. Every appeal touched the hearts of many, 16 precious souls gave their lives to Jesus, 52 others accepted to study God’s word and to be baptized soon. And many others were touched by the powerful healing of God by the intercessory prayers.
We were also blessed by the inspiring discipleship seminars presented by Pastor Ruben Ramos. These seminars challenged us to understand that following Christ is more than attending church—it is a daily journey of growth, commitment, service, and mission. Pastor Ramos equipped and encouraged our members to become stronger disciples by reaching and helping others to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Another meaningful part of the Hispanic Tent Program was the family-strengthening seminars presented by Pastor Omar Grieve and his wife, Nessy Grieve. Their ministry provided practical and spiritual guidance for strengthening marriages, building healthier families, improving communication, and keeping Christ at the center of the home. Their shared ministry reminded us that strong churches are built upon strong families and that our homes are important places for discipleship and faith formation.
Throughout the camp meeting, we experienced inspiring worship services, uplifting music, prayer, and meaningful fellowship. Each gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen our spiritual roots and reminded us that our greatest source of strength is Jesus.
One of the greatest accomplishments of the Hispanic Tent Program was bringing together people of different generations and backgrounds with one common purpose: to grow deeper in Christ and share His love with others. Children, youth, adults, and families participated in the program, creating an atmosphere of unity, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
We are deeply grateful for the pastors, speakers, musicians, volunteers, and church members who faithfully served throughout the camp meeting. Their dedication and willingness to use their gifts helped create a welcoming, Christ-centered environment where lives could be touched and faith could be strengthened.
The blessings of Soquel Camp Meeting 2026 went beyond the individual meetings. We experienced renewed commitments to Christ, strengthened families, deeper understanding of discipleship, new friendships, spiritual encouragement, and a greater desire to serve God and reach our communities. These are the fruits of being rooted in Christ.
As we move forward, the message of “Rooted” continues to challenge us: Where are our roots? May we remain firmly planted in Jesus, deeply grounded in His Word, connected to His church, committed to strengthening our families, and ready to make disciples. And as our roots grow deeper, may our lives bear abundant fruit for God’s kingdom.
We give all glory and praise to God for the wonderful things He accomplished at Soquel Camp Meeting 2026. May the seeds planted and the roots strengthened during this special gathering continue to grow, producing lasting spiritual fruit in our families, churches, and communities.
