Teen Camp at Camp Wawona: A Weekend of Spiritual Renewal and Mountain Adventure

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, CA — From April 24–26, the pristine surroundings of Camp Wawona in Yosemite National Park served as the breathtaking backdrop for the annual CCC FEJA Teen Camp. A long-standing and highly anticipated tradition, this year’s camp once again delivered an unforgettable experience, combining deep spiritual growth with vibrant youth fellowship.

The weekend was designed to give teenagers a meaningful break from their daily routines, offering them a space to build lifelong friendships and, most importantly, challenging them to fully consecrate their lives to Jesus Christ.

A Message that Impacted Hearts

The spiritual cornerstone of the camp was the ministry of the guest speaker, Pastor Tarcis Scaff. Known for his dynamic preaching and powerful personal testimony, Pastor Scaff connected deeply with the youth. His life stories and engaging messages left a profound, positive impact on the hearts of the teenagers, inspiring them to take their relationship with God to a deeper level.

Faith, Fellowship, and Fun

At its core, the FEJA Teen Camp balances foundational spiritual activities with rich social and recreational experiences. Surrounded by the towering sequoias and natural wonders of Yosemite, the campers participated in:

• Spirit-filled worship sessions and interactive group reflections.

• Recreational and outdoor activities that promoted teamwork and appreciation for God's creation.

• Social events that allowed teens from different churches across the conference to bond and support one another.

The CCC FEJA ministry continues to prioritize these spaces, recognizing that adolescence is a critical time for personal identity and faith development. The young people headed back down the mountain not only with great memories and new friends but with a renewed commitment to live out their faith boldly in their home congregations and schools.
