Two Baptized at Monterey Peninsula Church Following Christmas Cantata

MONTEREY, Calif. — Two individuals were baptized at the Monterey Peninsula Church on Sabbath following the church’s Christmas Cantata, publicly affirming their decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The baptisms took place in the church baptistry immediately after the musical program and were part of the ongoing spiritual impact of the church’s Pentecost 2025 evangelism initiative. Church leaders attributed the decision to the collective efforts of members who have been actively engaged in sharing their faith and supporting outreach ministries.

Church officials noted that the baptisms reflect continued growth within the congregation through consistent ministry, leadership involvement and spiritual guidance.

With the addition of these two individuals, five people have joined the Monterey Peninsula Church through baptism since the beginning of 2025, according to church representatives.
