November 12, 2025 — The Area 6 pastors came together for their quarterly meeting on Wednesday, November 12, sharing not only plans and updates but a meaningful time of fellowship, gratitude, and prayer. This quarter’s gathering was made especially memorable by the inclusion of Adventist Health chaplains serving throughout the region.

Among the guests were Area Chaplain Coordinator Zeke Nichols, Chaplain Edgar from Tulare, Chaplain Allen from Hanford, and Chaplain Gilbert, who ministers at both Reedley and Selma hospitals. Their presence, alongside all the Area 6 pastors, created a rich opportunity for connection between two vital branches of ministry—local churches and health care chaplaincy.
The meeting was filled with heartfelt testimonies of God’s faithfulness over the past year, as pastors and chaplains reflected on blessings and challenges in their respective ministries. The group also shared a warm Thanksgiving-style meal featuring delicious tamales, adding both flavor and cultural richness to the gathering.
A special highlight was the participation of Ben, a ministerial intern serving at the Orosi Seventh-day Adventist Church under the mentorship of Pastor Daniel Miranda. This meeting offered him a valuable opportunity to connect with other ministry leaders, hear their stories, and receive a special prayer of blessing for his continued growth in pastoral service.
Throughout the afternoon, the spirit of unity was evident as pastors and chaplains encouraged one another, prayed together, and shared a collective desire to strengthen their ministry impact across Central California.
As Area 6 looks ahead, leaders expressed their hope to continue fostering these meaningful connections. Through shared fellowship and collaboration, they aim to serve their communities with even greater compassion and purpose—working together to reflect the love of Christ in every setting, from the pulpit to the hospital bedside.
