Life Hope Center Reopens: Renewed Hope and Health in Our CommunitY

We are thrilled to announce the triumphant reopening of our Life Hope Center at Santa Maria Seventh-day Adventist Church. By reopening our doors to EVERYONE on April 23, we exemplified the spirit of Jesus through our service and compassion, leaving a profound impact on our community.

Our passionate volunteers welcomed over 128 community members and offered a wide range of essential services. A remarkable 92 individuals received vision screenings, with 72 pairs of glasses ordered for their return visit in 6 weeks. Our team also provided 71 haircuts, 60 massage and physical therapy treatments, 29 podiatry screenings, and 25 nail trimmings.

Our suite of services ranged from vision screenings and physical therapy treatments to lifestyle coaching and food demonstrations. Pastor, JongKeun Han, delivered inspiring Emotional/Spiritual Health talks throughout the day, while Pastor Bartutis Yomar provided invaluable translation and counseling services.

We were also fortunate to partner with esteemed local medical professionals and organizations, such as CHC, Dignity Health, San Luis Obispo Noor Foundation, Mariposa Project, AmeriCorp, Women’s Mobile Health, and the Vandenberg Village Lions Club, to provide extensive health information and resources.

The day culminated in a remarkable feat with services amounting to more than $83,000 being provided freely to our community. Our hearts brim with joy, appreciation, and an unwavering commitment to further serve our community. This is merely the start of our journey, and we eagerly anticipate aiding many more individuals.

Yet, our journey doesn't stop here! We're excited to unveil plans for expanding the scope of our Life Hope Centers. Our goal is to stretch our helping hands even further, reaching out to regions including Silicon Valley, Fresno, and beyond!

Thank you for your continued support and trust in us. Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming events and activities at the Life Hope Center.
